Internet Speed and Intelligo
This article explains the minimum internet connection speeds needed for watching streams and sharing your camera
A stable internet connection is needed for Intelligo to work best, but the speed and bandwidth can affect how your good video looks, both uploading your camera and watching streams. Use the tables below to see how your internet speed can affect the video stream quality.
Watching Streams
The quality of the stream you are watching will automatically be adjusted to the available connection speed.
Quality | Internet Download Speed |
Full HD 1080p | 5 Mbps |
HD 720p | 3 Mbps |
SD | 1 Mbps |
Publishing your Camera
A stable connection is very important for sharing your camera or stream. If your internet connection drops out, your stream will too. The resolution of the stream is determined automatically by the connection speed available:
Quality | Minimum Upload Speed |
HD 1080p | 5 Mbps |
HD 720p | 3 Mbps |
SD 480p | 1 Mbps |
SD 240p | 300 Kbps |
Studios and Breakout Rooms
Inside Studios and Breakouts, you need to have enough bandwidth to receive the individual streams. Using the tables above, it is possible to calculate the minimum recommended connection speeds needed to be part of a Breakout or Studio Session.
Note that the following calculations apply to users inside the studio, users watching the studio stream on a stage will only need to receive one stream, as detailed in the first table.
The examples below allow for best-case 1080p streams.
