My interact pane is not working
What to do if you are experiencing issues with the 'interact', chat, or questions and polls function.
Some parts of Intelligo are based on a real-time communication function called 'web sockets'. There are various things that could prevent web sockets from working on your computer, and this may lead to an inability to use the 'interact' features of the event. Below are some tips to try if you are experiencing issues.
1) Make sure you are using the latest version of a supported browser.
Intelligo officially supports the latest versions of Google Chrome and Microsoft's Edge browsers on desktop (Mac and Windows) devices. On mobile, we support Chrome for Android, and Safari for iOS/iPadOS.
We recommend checking that you are using one of these browsers to access your event, and always ensure you are updated to the latest version.
2) Access Intelligo on a laptop or desktop for the best experience.
We do support mobile devices, however the platform looks best in a desktop environment.
3) Use private or 'incognito' mode.
This will deactivate any third-party plug-ins that may be interfering with your connection.
4) Test your websockets.
If you are still experiencing issues, visit https://websocketstest.com/. After a few moments, you should see the below message:
If you see anything else, it may mean that WebSockets have been blocked on your laptop, either by an IT provider or by another program that is installed. In this instance, we recommend trying another device.
If you have tried all of the above and still have problems, please use the 'help' function on your event page, or email support@intelligo.uk.
